As participants in DIFI since its inception, four generations of Greek Americans have worked to share the love of their culture and heritage with the Dayton community. At the same time they are also sharing this love with their own children. From grandparent to parent to child, information about traditional food and dancing and the native language has passed from generation to generation. And, participation in DIFI has helped our children to learn about and appreciate other world cultures. Our cultural display this year will focus on the three elements of food, dance and language as learned and experienced by the children of our Greek community as they prepare to be part of this global event.
