The South Slavic Club is proud to represent the former republics of Yugoslavia (Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia) and Bulgaria

Prior to the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1991, all the republics were united under one country and one flag. Former Yugoslavia was a melting pot of nationalities, cultures and religions that gave way to rich traditions and cultures that the South Slavic Club effortlessly promotes through their enjoyment of the language, food, music and dance.

At the 2005 annual meeting of the South Slavic Club, the members voted to include Bulgaria to the countries represented by the club. We welcome anyone with Bulgarian ancestry or an in interest in Bulgaria to join us at our meetings or participate in our activities.

It is our intention to continually update these pages with more information of the people and not just the history.
