Crystal Anne Belen
Crystal Anne’s involvement with the Dayton International Festival began as a child in 1998. She grew up in Fairborn, OH and her dedication to A World A’Fair included Chairperson and Historian of the DIFI Youth Group, participating in the opening flag ceremonies, Parade of Nations, and dancing for the Philippine Folk Arts, Panama and USA dance groups. She was crowned Miss A World A’Fair in 2005. Still actively involved in the Phil-Am Society of Greater Dayton, she enjoys supporting her community by attending cultural functions and emceeing special events.
Crystal Anne’s passion to motivate and help others to achieve their goals and dreams has led her to accomplish many of her own. One of her most recent achievements was helping raise over $22,000 for cancer research in honor of an NFL head coach diagnosed with leukemia. She donated all of her hair to Locks of Love. She is also a leukemia survivor herself and has continued to help raise awareness of all types of cancer. In addition to her accomplishments, she has had the opportunity to perform as a back-up dancer in a Super Bowl XLVI music video and for International Filipino artists during their World Tour as well as being featured in NFL Magazine, swimsuit calendars, national television and local radio stations, to name a few.
Crystal Anne currently enjoys her career as a Health & Fitness Specialist, an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition & Wellness Advisor, and an NFL Cheerleader in Indianapolis. She encourages you to enjoy this extravagant festival as it only happens once a year and to leave with memories that will last you a lifetime. Enjoy the food, explore each culture, develop new friendships, and be sure to meet Crystal Anne. The Dayton International Festival Inc., A World A’Fair, has left footprints and memories in her heart and she is honored and thankful to be your Honorary Chairperson for 2013.
