When we have a Youth Advisor, we will begin the Junior Ambassador contest.

In addition to the Ambassadors, we also select a boy and a girl as our Junior Ambassadors.  This is for kids 7-11 years old (as of May 15 the original start of the festival).  The contest consists of answering general questions, generally about ethic matters.  All contestants must be wearing costumes/clothing from whatever country/ethnic group they are representing.

The ambassadors will be chosen on the Interactive stage on opening Friday.  There is a rehearsal the previous evening, Thursday, at 7 PM on the informal stage.  Please let the youth adviser know of your intentions to enter a child in the contest by our April meeting.
